Rian had his first neurofeedback treatment today. I really liked the Dr, Justin, and felt he had a good understanding of Rian's symptoms and goals for treatment. Rian didn't have a headache today and was feeling pretty good. Justin asked us a few questions, explained the process and went over the symptom tracker that we will complete after every appointment. After talking for a bit, Justin sat Rian in front of a computer to watch a "game" which involved 3 boats racing on a river. His goal was to keep the middle boat in the lead. Basically, if the middle boat stayed in the lead, his brain waves were firing like they should. It was fascinating to watch the Dr.'s screen and Rian's screen as his brain tried to keep the middle boat in the lead.
